How to use rubber rollers
1. Newly cast rubber rollers should not be put into use immediately. Since the internal structure of newly cast rubber rollers is not yet stable, using them immediately can easily reduce their lifespan. Therefore, newly produced rubber rollers should be placed for a period of time to allow them to stabilize after being exposed to the external environment's temperature and humidity, which can increase the toughness of the rubber, thereby improving durability.
2. Correct storage of idle rubber rollers. Rubber rollers that are to be used should be cleaned thoroughly, wrapped in plastic film, and placed on a rubber roller rack. They should not be casually piled together or leaned against a wall, to avoid unnecessary damage to the rubber. Waste rubber rollers should not be thrown, placed haphazardly, or pressed heavily during transportation for processing and casting, to ensure that the roller core remains centered and straight, ensuring normal use of the roller core.
3. The rubber roller shaft head and bearings should be kept well lubricated. We know that the precision of the rubber roller shaft head and bearings directly affects the ink transfer and application effect. Poor lubrication can lead to wear and gaps in the rubber roller shaft head and bearings, which will inevitably result in uneven ink color during printing. It can also cause issues like jumping or slipping of the rubber, leading to printing streaks. Therefore, lubricating oil should be added regularly to the rubber roller shaft head and bearings to prevent wear and ensure the normal use of the rubber roller, ensuring printing quality.
