Mixing rubberThe basic formulation process of rubber mixing silicone rubber can generally be formulated on a general-purpose rubber mixing machine, while large-scale production is carried out in a kneader or closed mixing equipment.
1. First, to start production with mixing silicone rubber, a curing agent must be added to cure and shape it in a vacuum curing machine. There are two methods for adding sulfur: for mixing silicone rubber under 50 kilograms, the curing agent can be added in a certain proportion in an open mill until the surface is smooth; for mixing silicone rubber over 50 kilograms, the curing agent must be added in a kneader until mixed evenly, and then mixed on the open mill roller until the surface is smooth.
2. The mixing silicone rubber with the curing agent can be directly put into production. First, open the packaging of the mixing silicone rubber oil paper, use a blade to cut the mixing silicone rubber raw materials into pieces, and then place them in the vacuum curing machine for production. The mixing silicone rubber material must be weighed on an electronic scale before being placed evenly in the mold. The amount of mixing silicone rubber material used needs to be based on the weight and size of the silicone product itself.
3. Finally, adjust the curing temperature and time. Generally, the curing temperature for silicone products is between 170°C-180°C, and the curing time is 60s-180s, which should be based on the quality and size of the product. After repeated adjustments and experiments, selecting the best curing temperature and time, a brand new silicone product is officially produced.
