Alloy RubberThe damper dissipates energy through flexible friction between internal contact points of the material to achieve damping and vibration reduction. When external loads act along the axis of the component, the number of contact points between internal layers of the component will increase. When the load acts in the shear direction, relative sliding occurs between the contact surfaces, and the contact area will also change. The relative sliding between layers forms flexible friction damping within the alloy rubber component, dissipating the vibration energy of the external load. This characteristic of alloy rubber determines the application of the component in the field of damping and vibration reduction. Due to its resistance to high temperatures, low temperatures, radiation, and corrosion, this damping and vibration reduction structure has broad application prospects in the aerospace field.
Alloy RubberMain application fields include:
(1) After using high-temperature resistant alloy rubber vibration pads, the vibration incidents of engines and other pipelines can be greatly reduced.
(2) UsingAlloy Rubberisolation devices can reduce the vibration of spacecraft solar panels. Non-angular displacement isolators significantly improve the resolution and clarity of reconnaissance satellites and drones.
(3) AR materials that balance pore heat dissipation and sound absorption characteristics can comprehensively solve thermal protection and noise suppression issues.
(4) O-rings made of thin metal shells wrapped with elastic AR have a much better sealing effect than 'hollow O-rings' without AR.
(5) Features such as a wide working temperature range, good medium stability, high effective breathability, and long service life. High-performance filters, pressure reducers, and pressure regulators made from AR can be used in rocket engines and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
(6) Elastic metal plastic (EMP) bearings made by compounding with other anti-friction materials (such as fluoroplastics) can improve the working life of the bearings. Compared to other porous material bearings, alloy rubber bearings have better elasticity and damping characteristics, which are more beneficial for installation and extending service life.
